The Chongqing Financial Convention and Exhibition Center is located at the junction of Jiangtan Park and the Jiangbei Central Business District, covering a total area of approximately 90,000 square meters, with a total construction area of about 14,402 square meters. The total investment for the project is 421.97 million yuan. The center repurposes idle buildings and plazas to create a financial landmark that serves to enhance financial functions, promote financial development, and gather financial elements. It will house four core functions: a digital exhibition hall for the financial center, the Western Center for the National Financial Information Platform, a financial supermarket, and conference and exhibition spaces. Once operational, it will become a landmark with regional recognition and national influence. The architectural concept is "Carving Light, Shining Over Two Rivers," with the building form seamlessly integrating with the site environment, resembling three gemstones scattered across the land—raw stones being unearthed and finely crafted diamonds echoing one another. The design team adheres to the construction goals of "focusing on finance, prioritizing ecology, leveraging intelligence, gathering talents, and sharing with all," using the design principles of "displayable, practical, and accommodating" to meticulously design and manage the construction of the Chongqing Financial Convention and Exhibition Center. The decorative design primarily adopts a modern minimalist overall style, with diamonds and rippling water as the main design elements. Through clever conception and spatial shaping, it symbolizes the beautiful implication of the financial center gathering wealth and continuously blending under the nourishment of the Jialing River, conveying the innovative prosperity of the financial industry and the spiritual essence of Chongqing's mountains and waters. Chongqing Design Institute serves as the leading EPC construction unit for the project, with the architectural design being completed by the Fifth Institute of Architectural Design, the Decoration Design Institute, and the Engineering General Contracting Division, all working together on design and EPC technical management services, guided throughout the process by the company's general manager and chief architect, Chu Dongzhu. The completion of the Chongqing Financial Convention and Exhibition Center brings a beautiful new landscape to the banks of the Jialing River and provides strong support for Chongqing's accelerated construction of the core area of the Western Financial Center.
