The Yunnan Dongfengyun Art Center, designed by Meng Fanhao of LINE+ Design Office, is constructed on a high slope with an artistic language that emphasizes de-architecture. It features a "red stone array" as its main structure, using a steel framework and an exterior facade adorned with simulated stone-like reddish concrete curtain walls. The design employs a free and unpretentious form to mitigate the imposing scale of foreign architecture. By leveraging contemporary industrial construction techniques rooted in the local context, it responds to the exhilarating visual impact arising from the collision between nature and the artificial.
